The Executive Residence opened in 1994 as an accommodation complex for the School of Business' Executive Education programmes, and became one of Dunedin's leading providers of boutique accommodation.

Specialising in accommodation for the University of Otago and adjacent tertiary providers, the Executive Residence is also popular with corporate visitors to Dunedin.
